BLANKETS - TULIP - EXTRAFINE MERINO WOOL
I envy those with a ‘garden calendar’... you know the one, it tells you when to plant this, prune this, harvest this, eat this and so on.
One cold April morning I head down to my local nursery and fill a trolley with a bevy of lush thriving plants. Once home I naively navigate my way round ‘landscape design’, and plant my throng.
2 weeks later – my oasis is no more. Perhaps I should have read the little sticky up card thingy that comes with the plant or at the very least watered them?
4 months later – my eyes are treated to a vision in red. There in the middle of the lawn a clumsily placed clump of extraordinary red tulips stand tall and proud. These are my kind of low maintenance flower – throw them in the ground and forget about and every year, you’ll be rewarded.
